SatuMatlamat

This painting powerfully illustrates how the devil seeks to mislead individuals. The use of monotone colors boldly emphasises this clear and ominous motivation. Syaitan is portrayed as patiently cunning, vigilantly watching for our weaknesses to exploit. At the very center of the devil’s open mouth, a faint, almost ghostly image of my fingerprint is embedded—symbolising how the devil targets each individual personally in Islam. This subtle but profound detail reminds viewers that the devil's temptations are tailored uniquely for every person.

The artwork serves as a solemn reminder to be cautious and aware of the devil’s harmful intentions. It encourages vigilance against the subtle, often hidden temptations we might face in daily life. Ultimately, it inspires us to continually seek refuge and protection in the almighty.

The Well

This painting depicts the moment Nabi Yusof (Prophet Joseph) was cast into a deep well by his own jealous brothers. Despite this betrayal, the prophet's unwavering will and trust in Allah enabled him to endure numerous tribulations. The narrative shows how events that seem tragic can lead to greater good and fulfil Allah’s divine plan. Nabi Yusuf’s rise to power and ability to assist his family remind us that hardships may serve a higher purpose. This reassures us that challenging experiences can yield positive outcomes if only we maintain our trust in Allah.
