The Well

This painting depicts the moment Nabi Yusof (Prophet Joseph) was cast into a deep well by his own jealous brothers. Despite this betrayal, the prophet's unwavering will and trust in Allah enabled him to endure numerous tribulations. The narrative shows how events that seem tragic can lead to greater good and fulfil Allah’s divine plan. Nabi Yusuf’s rise to power and ability to assist his family remind us that hardships may serve a higher purpose. This reassures us that challenging experiences can yield positive outcomes if only we maintain our trust in Allah.

Al-Isra Wal-Miraj

It recounts the remarkable journey of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as he ascended through the seven layers of heaven. Accompanied by the Angel Gabriel, he was introduced to various prophets along the way, culminating in his encounter with the Almighty Allah. This significant journey included the negotiation for the five daily prayers, which were made obligatory for the entire Muslim Ummah. Miraculously, this extraordinary experience occurred in a single night!

Besotted

This scene portrays Nabi Yusof (Prophet Joseph) being paraded by his captor, Zulaikha, as she attempts to explain to her friends the reasons for her infatuation with her humble servant. Her friends, so besotted by his presence, inadvertently cut their fingers with the knives they are holding. This painting highlights societal perceptions of beauty and the superficial reactions that often accompany it. It challenges viewers to delve deeper into qualities that transcend mere physical appearance, emphasising the importance of following the prophet's strong morals and integrity as a pathway to success in life.

Tabbatyada

This painting centres on Uma Jamil's right eye, which reflects her jealousy and animosity towards Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who was conveying the words of Allah to the people of Makkah. Her husband, Abu Lahab, is none other than the Prophet’s own uncle. Their actions are viewed as profoundly negative and unjust, and Allah Almighty condemns such individuals without hesitation. This serves as a cautionary reminder of the severe consequences that come from opposing a divine and righteous calling.

Translation: May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined he is.

The painting is filled with vibrant swirls of intertwining colours, symbolising the direct power of simple supplication. Each stroke represents an unmediated connection to the Almighty Allah, free from barriers or intermediaries. KeSanaKeMari

In this painting, thousands of luminous angels descend from the heavens, embodying their divine mission to protect and watch over humanity as commanded by Allah, the Almighty. Inspired by a Hadith narrating how 70,000 angels continuously visit the grave of Prophet Muhammad, it emphasises the profound spiritual connection between the celestial and earthly realms. The angels, crafted from light, radiate brilliance as they travel at the speed of light, symbolising their unwavering dedication to protect and nurture us.

Al-Muqeet

The essence of this painting is to highlight one of Allah’s remarkable attributes: The Nourisher, or Al-Muqeet in Arabic. This name, one of Allah’s 99 names mentioned in the Quran, emphasises how Allah continuously provides sustenance and support to all creation since the begining of time. It represents not only physical nourishment but also spiritual and emotional support, nurturing the soul and heart. Through this attribute, Allah cares for all beings, enabling humanity to thrive and positively contribute to the world. The painting invites reflection on Allah’s mercy and generosity in sustaining all aspects of life.

Zygote

This scene illustrates the remarkable miracle of the Quran, which describes the development of an embryo in a mother’s womb in extraordinary detail over 1,200 years ago, at a time when such knowledge was unknown. The transition from a sperm-drop to a clinging clot, and then to flesh and bones, highlights insights beyond human understanding of that era. This suggests that the Quran could not have been authored by Prophet Muhammad, but is a divine revelation from Allah, the All-Knowing Creator.

SatuMatlamat

The painting illustrates how the devil seeks to mislead individuals and draw them away from Allah. The monotone colour shouts this clear motivation!  Syaitan is depicted as being patiently cunning, watching for our weaknesses to exploit. This artwork serves as a reminder for us to be cautious and aware of the devil's harmful intentions. It encourages us to stay vigilant against subtle temptations we might encounter. Ultimately, it reminds us to continually seek refuge in Allah, our loving protector.
